“The stories we tell literally make the world. If you want to change the world, you need to change your story. This truth applies both to individuals and to institutions.” – Michael Margolis
A California native, I have spent most of my life writing stories and riding waves. During a stint as Surfline’s creative editor, my passion for storytelling merged with digital marketing savvy, turning me into a wildly creative content strategist.
With the goal of telling stories that matter (and catching a few waves along the way), I set out to travel around the world and have only recently drifted ashore in Byron Bay.
My work-life mantra is something along the lines of, ‘Get it done, then go out and find three ways to make it better.’
I focus on the solution, not the problem. I am a strategic thinker who thrives on creative challenges. I enjoy analyzing data to identify opportunities for growth. I get excited about helping brands to share their unique story with the audience that matters most.
I can manage a creative team, meet deadlines, sleuth out a story and wrangle freelancers while impacting bottom-line metrics such as conversions, subscribers and revenue.
When I’m not crafting content, you’ll find me wandering the coast around Byron Bay in search of waves, artisan coffee, overgrown trails and the perfect sunset spot.
