In partnership with Billabong Women’s, Gypsy Files was a monthly feature that I produced and wrote highlighting female surfers, filmmakers, photographers and writers.
For the pilot feature, ‘Wandering the Seven Mile Miracle,’ my role included brainstorming the concept for a female target audience and pitching the project to Billabong Women’s, traveling to Hawaii to gather interviews and content, writing the story and producing the content. The feature also included a social media activation.
Gypsy Files was Surfline’s first foray into female-centric sponsored surf content. There were six additional Gypsy Files I co-produced in partnership with Billabong Women’s, all highlighting inspiring women in the world of surfing.
